Rockford Reformed Church (RRC) is part of the Reformed Church in America, historically linked to the Protestant Reformation of the sixteenth century, but ultimately tracing its roots back to Jesus Christ, for the church is his creation.

We would really love to meet you in person! Take a look around our site to see what we’re about, then come and experience our community for yourself at one of the many opportunities offered.

Club Kick-Off Pizza Party: September 17 – families are invited!

To help children and youth put Christ in every phase of life, form healthy relationships, and develop positive feelings about themselves.

We believe…

  • that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died and rose again to provide redemption for each person.
  • that the Bible, the inspired, authoritative Word of God, is our rule for faith and practice.
  • that God has created his people as whole beings called to live a biblical lifestyle.
  • that God has ordained the church to evangelize and to nurture through discipleship.

The Basics

When: Wednesday evenings
Time: 6:30-8:00pm
Where: Rockford Reformed Church
Fees: None
Ages: 2 years – 5th grade

Ages 2 years – K

Start in the Fellowship Hall at 6:30

Skippers (2 & 3 year olds)

Our youngest participants will be singing, hearing about God, hearing Bible stories, and making new friends through various activities including games, arts & crafts, and more!

Scooters (4 year olds – K)

In Scooters, children learn about caring, giving, and living with Christ in their life. Singing, Bible stories, games, and arts & crafts continue to be an important part in the learning process.
Please note: parents of children in these two age groups are required to stay in the building during club time. It’s the perfect chance to check out an adult Bible study or help with Pioneer Clubs!

Grades 1-5

Start in the Sanctuary at 6:30

Boys and girls in first through fifth grades are in our Exploring program. They start together in the Sanctuary at 6:30 for the Bible presentation, then break up into relationship-building small groups. Strong elements of small group time include Bible discussion, Scripture memory, prayer, and getting to know the small group leader and peers. Weekly skill-building activities round out the program. Boys and girls are grouped by gender and work towards earning age-appropriate Bible, Activity, and Games awards badges.

Other Wednesday evening activities available at RRC:

Simple Supper

Join us at 6:00pm in the Family Life Center (gym) before programs start for a delicious home-cooked (and kid-friendly) meal prepared with loving hands!
