Betty Huizenga started the mentoring program Apples of Gold for the women of her church in Holland, MI, back in 1995. Its primary purpose is for mature women to nuture younger women in the Word of God, the Bible, and to encourage them to obey that Word. The secondary purpose of the program is the practical application of these skills: cooking, relational skills, homemaking, and sharing hospitality with others. Conference will be held at First Reformed Church in Fremont, Michigan (click for map). Lunch will be provided. Registration required.
