Women’s Bible/Book Study
Tuesdays, 9:30-11am • September 18-December 11 • Room 1
This fall’s Tuesday group kicks off with a potluck on September 11 (11:30am at Jane Hultink’s house – let us know if you need directions). The book study will begin on September 18. We all meet in Room 1 off the back of the Sanctuary for prayer and praise, then split off into two study groups. Here’s a look at the book we will be discussing (cost $7, will be handed out at the potluck):
Slave: The Hidden Truth About Your Identity in Christ
by John MacArthur
Did you know that every time you utter the word “Lord,” you make a subtle yet profound declaration that God is your Master and you belong to him? Best-selling author MacArthur explores what it means to follow Christ without hesitation–and why we as believers should consider ourselves slaves who were bought at a price.
