Our Digging Deeper Sunday School is a series of discussions based on each Sunday’s sermon. Each week’s leader will guide you in conversation that will let you learn from each other, discuss what you can learn from the sermon on a deeper level, and help you grow in your understanding in how to carry out God’s purpose for your lives.

SeptemberFest

Sunday, September 9 is our annual SeptemberFest! We will be having our worship service outdoors followed by an all-church picnic, complete with music, games, activities, prizes, and delicious food. There will still be KidLife Worship available for the kids. We will also have a giant slip-and-slide for the kids (and brave adults), so be sure to pack bathing suits and towels! For lunch, we will provide hotdogs, hamburgers, water, lemonade, and sno-kones. Please bring a dish to pass (sides, salads, desserts).


After-Service Socials

June 10 – August 26, 2018

After-Service Socials will begin on Sunday, June 10.  Join us in the gym after each service this summer for an opportunity to connect with people in a relaxed atmosphere. Don’t miss this chance to meet, greet, and eat! Snacks may be simple, such as cookies and milk, but each week is a surprise! If your family, small group, or ministry is willing to host a week, please let Laura Jolliffe know.

Discovery Class

If you are thinking about membership with Rockford Reformed Church, or if you just want to learn more about us, this class is for you! Attending class in no way obligates you to join. We will explain the basic beliefs and background of the Reformed Church in America and answer any questions regarding our worship, ministry, or doctrine. Lunch will be provided. Come out and support the Alpha Family Center of Cedar Springs by participating in the 23rd annual LifeWalk / 5K LifeRun through the heart of Cedar Springs. Great for the whole family as well as friends, kids, youth, serving, small, and church groups! Participants are encouraged to collect a minimum of $50 in pledges in lieu of the registration fee. Monday Night Golf

Monday Night Golf – Summer 2018

Monday night golfing has started! For $15, you get 9 holes and a cart on one of Michigan’s top courses. Tee times start at 5pm. No reservations are needed – just show up and be prepared to have a great time golfing! The kitchen is open if you want to get a bite to eat when you are done. Men’s Skeet Shoot

Saturday, April 21 • 12 noon – 4pm

Men (and boys accompanied by an adult) – we hope you can come out for an afternoon of fun! Darryl DeGood is hosting a skeet shoot at his house on Saturday, April 21 (13150 White Creek Ave, Cedar Springs). BYOG & ammo. Also bring if you can: clay targets, snacks, drinks. The annual church garage sale to support Rockford Reformed Church Youth Ministries is coming up! Money raised at the garage sale will go towards supporting the youth summer mission trips. Bag sale from 1-2pm.

To make this year another great success we need your stuff! So clean out those closets and bring your “junk” to church!
 
Items can be dropped off March 6-15 during office hours (M-Th 9am-2:30pm). Signs in the gym will show you where to place your items. Donation receipt forms will be available. Please note that we cannot take large appliances, TV’s, child car seats, or mattresses (crib mattresses are ok).

Whether younger or older, single or married, you’ll gain sound financial advice to last you a lifetime. Experienced, trained teachers will lead you over the course of 9 weeks. Childcare is provided. Take the first step of your financial future by enrolling online.
