Worship Ways

Worship Ways

Sunday, March 6, 2016

The Elementary KidLife kids (K-5th grade) are taking part in a 5-week curriculum called “Worship Ways”. The objective is to understand the importance of worship in our relationship with God and to explore various ways children can worship, with the goal of leading the congregation during a morning worship service.

The Elementary KidLife kids will be leading worship on Sunday, March 6, 2016 (both services)!

Our goal is 100% participation both during the next several weeks of preparation but also during both services on March 6. We understand this is not possible for everyone and we will work with the kids who are not with us every week so they don’t feel like they missed anything. Please let us know if your child will not be present on March 6 so that we can plan accordingly.

Adoption Fundraiser – Shantz

Hearts for Orphans Special Event

Tuesday, February 23, 2016

Our Hearts for Orphans Jewelry Fundraiser this year will be to help Bren and Audrey Shantz. In case you haven’t heard, they are very soon going to be fostering/adopting and need to get a couple of rooms ready for 2-3 kids. Our generous jewelry lady at Premier Designs donates ALL of her profits to our orphan ministry – that 50% of total sales! Our goal is to have a $2,000 show and raise $1,000!!!

Can’t come but would like to order? There will be catalogs at the information desk on Sunday, February 14 & 21. Place orders and catalogs in Rebecca Cruttenden’s mailbox.

Our theme this year is THE POWER OF ONE! Ladies, would you…
  • purchase 1 piece of jewelry
  • take 1 jewelry catalog on Sunday, Feb. 14
  • ask 1 friend to also purchase 1 piece of jewelry
  • pray for Bren and Audrey’s kids for 1 minute every time you wear your jewelry?
