Worship Ways

Worship Ways

Sunday, March 6, 2016

The Elementary KidLife kids (K-5th grade) are taking part in a 5-week curriculum called “Worship Ways”. The objective is to understand the importance of worship in our relationship with God and to explore various ways children can worship, with the goal of leading the congregation during a morning worship service.
The Elementary KidLife kids will be leading worship on Sunday, March 6, 2016 (both services)!
Our goal is 100% participation both during the next several weeks of preparation but also during both services on March 6. We understand this is not possible for everyone and we will work with the kids who are not with us every week so they don’t feel like they missed anything. Please let us know if your child will not be present on March 6 so that we can plan accordingly.

Adoption Fundraiser – Shantz

Hearts for Orphans Special Event

Tuesday, February 23, 2016

7-9pm Open House Style • Fellowship Hall
Our Hearts for Orphans Jewelry Fundraiser this year will be to help Bren and Audrey Shantz. In case you haven’t heard, they are very soon going to be fostering/adopting and need to get a couple of rooms ready for 2-3 kids. Our generous jewelry lady at Premier Designs donates ALL of her profits to our orphan ministry – that 50% of total sales! Our goal is to have a $2,000 show and raise $1,000!!!
Can’t come but would like to order? There will be catalogs at the information desk on Sunday, February 14 & 21. Place orders and catalogs in Rebecca Cruttenden’s mailbox.
Our theme this year is THE POWER OF ONE! Ladies, would you…
  • purchase 1 piece of jewelry
  • take 1 jewelry catalog on Sunday, Feb. 14
  • ask 1 friend to also purchase 1 piece of jewelry
  • pray for Bren and Audrey’s kids for 1 minute every time you wear your jewelry?

Online Giving

RRC now has online giving – you can give directly from your phone or computer! There’s a link to the form on the front page of our website, or you can just go there directly by clicking here.

The process is easy and secure! Make one time donations, or set up a recurring donation. You don’t have to create an account, but if you do, you won’t have to re-enter your information each time.

Screen 1: Enter the amount you wish to give, and choose which fund it goes toward. Most of you will choose “General Fund”, otherwise known as M&M / Ministry and Missions. You can donate to more than one fund at once by clicking on the “add gift” button.

Screen 2: Here you enter your information. It is helpful to our accounting staff if you include your envelope number in the provided spot. We need your email address so we can send you a receipt.

Screen 3: Here you enter your payment type. You can draw directly from your checking account (the preferred method), or you can use your debit/credit card. If you use your debit/credit card, you will notice the option to help cover the 3% transaction fees associated with processing the card. For example, if you donate $100, the church actually receives only $97 once credit card processing fees are deducted. You can elect to cover that so that the church nets the full $100 (you would pay $103).

That’s all there is to it! If you have any questions, please contact the front office or email

Gift of Hope is a ministry of Haiti Foundation Against Poverty. Enterprising Haitian women use their own handiwork so they can afford to keep their children by creating and selling beautiful, high-quality items to people like you, who give others the gift of hope.
Time after time mothers come to our gate and our clinics bringing their children in desperation – in need of food, medications, or other necessities. We ask, “If you could provide for your child, would you keep him?” A resounding “YES” is always the reply. Gift of Hope provides struggling mothers with the skills and income they need to better care for their children. (Mallery Neptune, Founder and Director of HFAP)
