Rockford Reformed Church will be hosting a booth at the Rockford Farmer’s Market downtown on Saturday, July 25. The Farmer’s Market is open from 8am-1pm and has built an amazing reputation as one of the Best Farmers Markets in America!
This year the Missions Team and the Outreach Team are joining together to raise money for our global missions efforts as well as spreading some love to our community. We will be selling baked good items that have been top sellers in the past such as brownies, cookies and cookie bars, and rice krispie treats!

Noise Night

Noise Night

Wednesday, June 24, 2015 • 6:30 – 8:00pm

Boys and girls just leaving 3rd-5th grade, come and make the loudest noise you can! Invite your friends! There will be prizes in categories such as: loudest noise made by a student, boys vs. girls, and bringing the most friends.
Rules: You can bring and use many different items to make a loud noise during the competitions, but there is one rule. The noise must be powered by you, so no batteries, electricity, or gas powered noise makers. For example, you can yell, blow a trumpet, clang pots and pans, or pound on drums. Be creative and work hard to make a loud noise!
The Bible lesson for the night will be “What kind of noise does your life make?” with readings from Matthew 5:13-16 and John 13:35.

Summer 2015 Sermon Series

Summer 2015 Sermon Series – “The Messiah’s Community”
As I prayed for direction concerning my first sermon series at Rockford Reformed Church, the book of Ephesians came to my mind and heart. Ephesians is a powerful and beautiful discussion of both what Christ has done for us, and the nature and purpose of Christ’s Church. Deepening our understanding of who we are in Christ is essential for growing as disciples. Deepening our understanding of the Church is essential for us at RRC as we seek to become all the Lord has called us to be as a loving, missional community. This summer we’ll cover the first three chapters – and that’s going fast for a book so jam-packed full of practical truth and theological depth! I’m excited as we begin this journey into God’s Word together!  – Pastor Paul
