It Is Well
RRC family, friends, and guests,

I just returned from recording the sermon at our church facility and as you might be able to tell, I am excited about how God and his Word can wonderfully provide for us during this crazy, scary coronavirus season. Your response to our first foray into pre-recording the sermon and providing the music last week was very encouraging. It was great as many of you signed in on the website and a number of you forwarded the links/info to family, friends, co-workers and neighbors. This could be one of the amazing ways that God works through these difficult days. Many people have time like they’ve never had before and it’s easy for us to share the hope and encouragement of the gospel in this way. So share it and pray for God’s Spirit to do his saving work!

I also want to add a fun kink for the kids listening to this sermon. I made an error in something I said in the sermon (I think there’s only one) and so here’s the challenge for all kids under 16 years old. By 6pm on Sunday, March 22, send a note to the church office with the error and how it should be corrected AND a short paragraph that summarizes the message of the sermon (include your name and age). Laura will forward all of your submissions to me and I will provide a prize for the best submission (age will be considered for my selection).

Continue to pray for our community, our country, and the medical community that is perhaps just seeing the beginning of severe struggle and stress.

Grace, peace, and love to you all,
Pastor Tim

Hi, I enjoyed the sermon. Stan and I are going to choose to look to Christ and be at rest! Praying for you, Pastor Tim & Ruth as well as for your family.
We are keeping our church family in our prayers as well as the Rockford community and our World.
